Packed and Ready

Well, that's as packed as it gets. If I forgot something, there's a Wal-Mart everywhere. Even Fairbanks.

I'm going to drag that fuel can on the left bag all the way to Coldfoot, fill it up, probably never use it, then leave it empty from the return to Coldfoot to home. Thankfully it doesn't weigh much empty.

Do note the lack of shit hanging off every available surface of the bike. What is pictured will get me through a weekend trip, or it could take me around the world. I've still got room in the panniers, and I haven't expanded the tank bag. I have no idea what is being carried by some of the folks I see, with stuff lashed to the top of the panniers, little bags stuck in the crash bars and the like. Two-up I could understand, but some solo riders could really benefit from asking themselves, "how many times am I going to use that on this trip?"
